Social Media

social media

does your website need social media exposure?

Your business may benefit from social media traffic. Some small businesses should place focus on traditional online marketing. We can help you explore options and evaluate the benefits of social media. Understanding the many different platforms before adopting a marketing strategy is the core of our business.

Facebook stands apart from all other social media in respect to the demographic where small business can benefit the most. We can create a business profile for your business and draw visitors to your website or use it as a point of communication.

#

Twitter is a dynamic all to its own. A local plumber may see less of an ROI verses a national or regional brand with wider markets and a robust marketing budget. For majority of our clients, Twitter is not the best use of resources to promote your services.

#

LinkedIn is a platform for business networking. Whether you offer your services or post a resume, LinkedIn is more so a resource than a hangout. Choosing to market your products and services may serve some businesses better than others.

#

Snapchat is just as the name says. The camera in your smartphone is best used in Snapchat, now called Snap. The content here is very fluid and short lived. If your products and services are tailored for a younger demographic, or a social demographic, you may benefit here.

#

Vine is a short video lopping platform. People develop all sorts of short clips and the site loops them indefinitely. Purely for entertainment, it may be a challenge for most traditional small businesses to realize any financial benefit from advertising on Vine.

#

Pinterest is a unique platform that focuses primarily on images. A chef in a populated region, a watchmaker or a home designer may do well on Pinterest than a local electrician. We could not recommend for anyone to use Pinterest as a strong source for lead generation.

Social Media is a great resource for many purposes. It is important to first identify your needs and determine which, if any, social media platform serves your purpose. Keep in mind that in all social media platforms, the number 1 purpose is entertainment. Business Ads are a distraction from that entertainment that can also be a nuisance to the user. Some businesses can do well on social media, a few will do great... but the vast majority of small service businesses will see no benefit.
