Website Design and Development

Website design and development work takes time, planning, writing, layout work, coding, testing, and revisions. We work closely with clients to create a website that fits the approved direction.

Once a design direction, wireframe, mockup, or project scope is approved, major changes may require additional time and cost. Small adjustments are expected during a project, but major layout changes, new sections, new functionality, or a change in direction may be billed separately.

Client Responsibilities

To complete a project properly, the client may need to provide content, images, login access, business information, approvals, feedback, and payment on time.

Project delays caused by missing information, late feedback, or delayed approvals are not the responsibility of Webmasters Desktop, LLC.

The client is responsible for making sure any content, images, logos, videos, documents, or materials they provide are legally allowed to be used.

Website Hosting and Access

Some websites may be hosted, managed, or maintained by Webmasters Desktop, LLC as part of an ongoing service.

For security and stability, direct server, file, database, plugin, theme, or administrative access may be limited depending on the website setup and service agreement.

If a client wants to move a website, request full access, or transfer ownership of certain files, code, or design assets, this may require a written request and may be subject to transfer, cleanup, licensing, or buyout terms.

Ownership and Licensing

Unless otherwise stated in writing, clients receive the right to use the completed website design for their business once the project is paid in full.

This does not automatically include ownership of all source files, development methods, code libraries, internal systems, design processes, licensed software, stock assets, or other materials used to create the website.

Client-provided materials remain the property of the client. Webmasters Desktop, LLC retains ownership of its internal tools, processes, reusable code, design methods, and proprietary work unless transferred in writing.

Website Content

We may write, edit, organize, or publish website content as part of a project. The client is responsible for reviewing and approving final content before publication.

We are not responsible for inaccurate claims, missing legal disclosures, industry-specific compliance requirements, or content provided by the client.
